On the basis of the Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus, January 9, 2006, “On the Safety of Genetic Engineering Activities” the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus prescribed requirements for contained use systems during performing works of the first risk level of the genetic engineering activities (requirements to the laboratory premises, waste management and legal entities and individual entrepreneurs).
